Sure thing. Grab a coffee and take a seat.
Like many other entrepreneurs and business owners, my family is my Why.
Having worked hard in the public sector for many years, I was fed up with hearing myself say "Hang on kids, I've just got to send this email", or "Yep, one more meeting and then we can play". And of course, I rarely had any energy left for them anyway.
I've always had a love of writing. Words were always my "thing" at school. Numbers? Well, not so much.
Interestingly, psychology also held a strong fascination for me but more on that in a moment.
So copywriting found me in the end.
Offering me a combination of being able to
- exercise my creative muscles
- indulge my previously mentioned love of psychology
- use my service experience to build genuine and lasting relationships with my client base
- and to practice my skills in project management to my heart's content
a freelance copywriting business of my own really was the answer to all of my questions.
Most importantly, it allows me the freedom to be the best version of myself possible, for my family, friends and clients.
I now have the time and energy for my partner and three children, my two loveable Labradors, my treasured horses and our beautiful small property located south of Ballarat in Victoria.
On a weekend, you will find me walking the dogs, hanging with my ponies, playing card games with kids, messing about in my garden or off on a family road trip somewhere. And just generally looking a lot less frazzled than I used to.
Through Luminous Copywriting, I have been fortunate to achieve more balance, fulfilment and purpose than I previously thought possible.
I am so grateful to my wonderful clients for their support in this and I look forward to helping you with achieving your goals too.
